Geosciences Honours College

Seminars

“Step out of your comfort zone and expand your perspective!”

Do you want to get to know more people from other programs than your own and do you want to expand your knowledge? The Honours seminar really connects all students. Where most other Honours components are either carried out individually or in small groups, the Honours seminars glue together all years and all participating bachelor programs. This is one of the components where you can really step out of your comfort zone and connect with students from other programs and years. It truly results in an interdisciplinary way of learning where you can expand your perspective and share your ideas. Seminar projects vary every year and span one or two periods, which makes this component varied. The projects are set up to bridge scientific content, academic skills, personal development and society, where you get introduced to all disciplines within the faculty of Geosciences.

Are you currently an Honours student or are you considering joining the Honours program, and you want to know more about this component? Click on the UU-blackboard button below, where you can read the study guide!
